Heidi Klum Taking It "One Day at a Time" with Seal

Heidi Klum continues to take the high road in what she's hoping does not become a public battle with her ex-husband.

A couple weeks ago, Seal made it pretty clear that he believes Klum was "fornicating" with bodyguard Martin Kristen while still married to the singer.

The artist then tried to clarify those comments - which the super model says came from a place of jealousy and anger - but the damage had already been done.

"I don't know if we're the greatest friends right now, especially because of the things that he said," Klum told to Katie Couric in a pre-taped interview for her talk show, Katie.

"I just saw him on, on Sunday. We were talking and we're in an okay place."

The estranged couple has four kids together, meaning they will remain a part of each other's lives forever, rumors and infidelity accusations be damned.

"It's a work in progress," Klum added of her relationship with Seal. "You have to take it one day at a time. It's hard especially when you are in the public eye too."

"People are always looking at you closely and at everything you do. And they also don't always see exactly how it really is."

"I haven't felt like correcting every rumor that is out there. I'm focusing on moving forward."
